Household hazardous wastes (HHW) are products that are flammable, corrosive, reactive or toxic. Therefore, they are dangerous to the public and environment. CR&R is able to collect HHW such as motor oil, oil filters, paint, batteries, antifreeze and other automotive products, pesticides, household cleaners, pool chemicals, fluorescent tubes, items containing mercury such as thermometers and thermostats, home medical wastes such as sharps/needles, and electronic waste (e-waste).
Please contact CR&R at 866-949-9694 or firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements for a special door side collection of HHW items. The customer service representative will ask you for a specific count and list of the items to be collected, which is required by law in order to collect the material. Please be prepared to provide this information.
