Purpose:
The Newport Beach Restaurant Association Business Improvement District (BID) is renewed in the spring of each year by the City Council. Assessments are levied on member businesses for the purpose of activities which include:

 

    1. Marketing, advertising, and public relations
    2. Brochure development and distribution
    3. Promotion of public events
    4. General promotion of restaurant trade activities
    5. Educational and training classes for members
    6. Memberships in various organizations deemed to promote dining in Newport Beach.

Authorization:
Pursuant to Parking and Business Improvement Area Law of 1989, California Streets and Highways Code Section 36500 et. seq.

Frequency of Meetings:
The fourth Wednesday of odd numbered months, unless otherwise noticed.
