The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) provides a broad and diverse spectrum of fiscal processing solutions. This division is responsible for the development, administration and monitoring of the City’s operating budget as well as processing the City’s payroll. Services also include accounts payable, purchasing, warehouse control of inventory and disposal of surplus equipment. Other activities include management of the Citywide purchasing card program, encumbrances and contract administration. Adopting practices to accommodate emerging technology and evolving regulations is an ongoing requirement.
