Mission Statement
To protect and improve the resources of Newport Harbor, Upper Newport Bay, and the ocean beaches to ensure there proper use and enjoyment by all things that derive life, recreation, or commerce from our City’s most important asset.
Division Functions
Staff support to the Harbor Commission. Tidelands Administration including the management of pier permits, harbor dredging, pumpout stations, Balboa Yacht Basin, harbor debris pickup, moorings and liveaboards.
