Forms & Applications for Permits

Directions to Office: From 73 South exit MacArthur and continue on street.  Make a rght on San Miguel, turn left on Avocado Avenue, and make a left on to Civic Center Drive.  Follow the street to the parking structure. 
From PCH Southbound: Turn left on Avocado Avenue (pass the Central Library) and make a right on Civic Center Drive. Follow the street to the parking structure.
From PCH Northbound: Turn right on Avocado Avenue (pass the Central Library) and make a right on Civic Center Drive. Follow the street to the parking structure.

Recreation & Senior Services Department Mission is to enhance the quality of life by providing diverse opportunities in safe and well-maintained facilities and parks. We pledge to respond to community needs by creating quality educational, recreational, cultural and social programs for people of all ages.

The Department Consists of Three Divisions administration, recreation services and senior services. Its staff oversees the use of the City’s 73 park, beaches, marine habitats and recreational facilities while coordinating recreational and social opportunities that serve a population ranging from infants to those in their advanced years.

Beach Fire Rings Transitioning to Charcoal
Starting Monday, March 24, beach fire ring users in Newport Beach are to use charcoal only to comply with the new AQMD rule.
