ation throughout our community in a variety of safety topics. Department members provide safety instruction and training to all ages from school age children to adults through the following programs:

Junior Firefighter Camp
The Newport Beach Fire Department will be holding our very popular Junior Firefighter Camp for children, ages 9-13. The camp will be taught by our very own Newport Beach Firefighters and will introduce the participants to the firefighting profession.

Basic First Aid
Intro to Firefighting Tools & Skills

The classes run for five days, Monday thru Friday, from 9am- 12pm and will be hands-on and very interactive. The fee is $110 and students will receive an official Newport Beach Junior Firefighter Hat and T-shirt. Participants may sign up for one of the sessions listed above.
