Cultural Arts Grant Applications Available for Newport Beach Programs

Newport Beach, California(August 4, 2010) - Arts organizations offering cultural arts programs for Newport Beach residents and visitors are invited to apply for 2010-11 Newport Beach Cultural Arts Grants available through the City Arts Commission.

Grants, as determined by the City Arts Commission, will be awarded to qualified arts organizations with strong projects that enhance educational and community programs for the City of Newport Beach.    Successful applicants must be able to document need, quantifiable success, a realistic budget and implementation plan, and direct service to Newport Beach residents. 

Past recipients include organizations offering cultural programs benefiting children, adults and seniors in the Newport Beach community. Applications are due by Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 4 p.m. For more information or an application, call the Newport Beach Cultural Arts Services office at 949-717-3870.
