Training at NBPL

Tuesdays@2

Our Tuesdays@2 small group computer classes are offered on a variety of topics, including using library databases, buying and selling on e-Bay, and other topics.   Check the library events calendar for the latest schedule.

Tuesdays@2 Training Policies and Guidelines:
  • Only one session per customer may be reserved at a time.
  • Classes are held in the Training Room on the first floor at the Central Library. 
  • Sessions are offered monthly on Tuesdays at 2:00pm
  • Students must be 18 years or older.  Contact Youth Services at (949) 717-3830 for children’s and teen’s computer instruction.
  • Class size is limited to 6 students per session.
  • Sessions last approximately between one and two hours.
  • Customers may take any of the three core classes one time (Introduction to the Web, Email Basics, and Advanced Google Searching).
  • Customers are limited to taking a maximum of four elective classes (Buying or Selling on eBay, Buying a Computer, etc…)

Universal Class

We also offer in-depth online training through Universal Class. Universal Class offers work-at-your-own-pace online training on a wide variety of topics, from writing a business plan to planning a wedding, and plenty of computer classes as well. There's something for everyone!
