Getting Kindle books onto Apple and Android devices
To read Kindle books on your Apple or Android mobile devices, you will need to download the Kindle app (for free) from the App Store or Android Marketplace.
Once the app has been downloaded and installed, register the app using your Amazon account information.
Go to the Overdrive website and find a Kindle-compatible title. After checking out the item, you will be directed to Amazon's website. Select your mobile device from the Deliver To: menu and click Get Library Book. If your device is not listed, you have not registered the app.

A confirmation screen will let you know your book has been sent. Launch the Kindle app from your mobile device, which will automatically sync your ebooks. To find them, go to the Archived Items screen. For Apple users, it is located on the bottom left corner of the screen. Android users, press the Menu button and then Archived Items.
