    Project Status: PA2008-114  - Newport Banning Ranch, LLC, submitted an application for a coastal development permit to the California Coastal Commission on February 1, 2013, which is the next step in the entitlement process. The application has been deemed complete on April 29, 2015 by the Coastal Commission staff.

    Project description:

    A Planned Community Development Plan consisting of a maximum of 1,375 dwelling units, 75,000 square feet of commercial retail, 75-room boutique hotel, "bed and breakfast", or other overnight accommodations, parks and open space


    402.3 acres generally located north of West Coast Highway, east of the Santa Ana River channel, south of the Talbert Nature Preserve, and west of Superior Avenue.
