Free Tenant Rights Workshop

Fair Housing Rights and Responsibilities

The Fair Housing Foundation is holding a Tenant Rights Workshop at the Newport Beach City Hall  in the Corona Del Mar Conference Room located at 100 Civic Center Drive, Bay 1E from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2018. This workshop is free and open to the public.

Attendees will learn about how they are protected under fair housing laws, what their rights and responsibilities as tenants are, and how to deal with tenant-landlord disputes. A housing counselor will be on hand to answer any questions from participants.

The Fair Housing Foundation (FHF) serves residents of the city of Newport Beach.  FHF is contracted by the City and receives funds through the Community Development Block Grant. FHF educates the public about Fair Housing rights and responsibilities through workshops, training and community events. FHF provides mediation and counseling services through its housing assistance hotline 1-800-446-FAIR (3247) and walk-in clinics.  FHF also investigates issues of discrimination related to housing.

For more information or to RSVP for the Tenant Rights Workshop, call 1-800-446-FAIR (3247).
