Author Kim Hooper: Cherry Blossoms

MEET AUTHOR KIM HOOPER

Dana Point author Kim Hooper will talk about her second and most recent book, Cherry Blossoms, which reviewers describe as “part travel guide, part comedy, part exploration of grief and relationships.” Her debut novel, People Who Knew Me was released in May 2016. It focuses on a character who fakes her death after 9/11 and starts a new life, but years later she is forced to confront her own past in order to secure the future of her daughter.

Admission is free.  Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Books will be available for purchase and signing.

This is what they are saying about Kim Hooper's new book!

“A simply stunning read! This novel grabs your attention and won't let go. It’s fascinating, heartfelt, intense, unforgettable, and there is so much info regarding Japanese culture that really adds something to the reading experience. This was my first time reading a Kim Hooper book and I can't wait to see what she writes next…”– Charlene Martel, The Literary Word

"Kim Hooper's talent is spirited, at times breathtaking, and at the height of its bloom. Cherry Blossoms is a lovely meditation on loss, renewal and the ephemeral nature of life. I just loved it." - Steven Rowley, author of Lily and the Octopus
