DESCRIPTION:<p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Reading Hamlet:&nbsp; UCI’s Shakespeare Center brings Hamlet to the Newport Beach Public Library**</p><p>UCI Professor of English Andrea Henderson will be moderating this reading group here at the Central Branch on  April 11, 18, 25 and May 2, 9, 16 &amp; 23.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Professor Henderson teaches Shakespeare regularly in the Department of English and is a specialist in Victorian literature and a recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship.&nbsp; In addition to the academic expertise of Professor Henderson, UCI will also be providing copies of the play for use during the group meetings.&nbsp; Seating is limited and registration is required.&nbsp; </p><p><b>Where:&nbsp; </b>Charles Sword Meeting Room, Central Library 2<sup>nd</sup> Floor. 1000 Avocado Avenue</p><p><b>When:&nbsp; </b>Wednesdays, April 11, 18, 25 and May 2, 9, 16 &amp; 23 10 a.m.-12 p.m.</p><p><b>Information and Registration (required):&nbsp; </b>Susan Groux, <a href="mailto:&#115;&#103;&#114;&#111;&#117;&#120;&#64;&#110;&#101;&#119;&#112;&#111;&#114;&#116;&#98;&#101;&#97;&#99;&#104;&#99;&#97;&#46;&#103;&#111;&#118;">sgroux@newportbeachca.gov</a> or 949.717-3818.&nbsp; </p><p>** This group is being held in conjunction with the April 11<sup>th</sup> UCI program <i>The Trial of Hamlet</i> with former UCI Dean of Law Erwin Chemerinsky.
