In fact it was Trudi's early career as a weather forecaster that inspired her to write her first book.&nbsp;<em>The Nebula Secret</em> is based on real-life technology, people, and places with lots of science facts, hidden puzzles and codes embedded throughout the book.&nbsp; Find out how to crack the code at this exciting program. Perfect for kids 8 years and up.</p><h3>Plus . . .</h3><p>Trudi Trueit is bringing a special guest:&nbsp;Zoltan Takacs, Nat Geo explorer, snake wrangler, herpetologist and toxinologist!</p><p>Zoltan Takacs has been chasing venomous snakes in the world's most remote locations since he was a teenager. He's traveled to 133 countries and survived seven snakebites. But  Takacs doesn't go after these deadly creatures just for the thrill; he collects venom and brings it back to a lab, where he and his colleagues analyze it with the goal of treating diseases.</p><p>Books will be available for purchase from <a href="http://www.awhaleofatale.com/" target="_blank">A Whale in the Tale Bookshoppe for Children</a>&nbsp;and signing by the author.</p><p>Free admission.&nbsp; No reservations.
