DESCRIPTION:The City of Newport Beach tests its Outdoor Warning Notification System at noon on the first Friday of each month.  The outdoor warning notification speakers are located at the wedge, Marina Park and West Newport Park at 61st Street.  The first Friday of each month is a test only of the notification system.  No action by residents is necessary.  However, during an actual emergency residents should turn on their radios and televisions to seek additional information.
