Office Sought: Member of the City Council - District 6
Occupation: Business Person
Addressing the issues facing our city will require honesty and commitment. Both personally and professionally, I am focused on bringing people together to solve problems in a responsible, accountable manner.
Public safety is one of our most urgent concerns. Crime may be down, but criminals today are more aggressive and invasive than ever before. We need to revisit staffing levels, funding and the impacts of early prisoner releases.
Lack of adherence to our zoning regulations, building codes and General Plan threaten the charm of Newport Beach and our quality of life. I currently work with citizen groups to address issues such as John Wayne Airport noise and pollution, overdevelopment and resulting traffic. Our solutions need to spring from public input and creative consensus, not secret negotiations.
My goal is to restore truth, ethics and transparency to Newport Beach city government. Let's work together to protect the place we call home.
