Newport Beach Public Library Resources

The Newport Beach Public Library (NBPL) offers online resources through its ebranch that may be helpful to businesses or workers impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. All are free and some just require access with your library card. If you don’t already have an NBPL card, you may register for a temporary barcode number online

SCORE Orange County

SCORE offers scheduled, online workshops on a variety of practical topics such as social media, raising capital, online sales and much more. SCORE also offers a library of resources including templates for business planning, finance, sales and marketing.

Small Business Development Center (SBDC)

SBDC has free resource guides and videos designed to help your business including step-by step-guides on how to complete various SBA forms needed for the Economic Injury Disaster Loan and other topics like driving sales online.

Social Media Support

Facebook has created a Business webpage with free resources and tools on how to get your business online. In response to COVID-19, they have created toolkits tailored to each industry on how to adapt and respond to the changing marketplace.

For businesses with existing social media platforms, Facebook has partnered with Square and Kabbage to help set up your business with the ability to sell gift cards online.
