Street Maintenance
Street Maintenance maintains a safe and secure pavement system for the community. The program provides staff with guidelines to inspect, schedule, and repair City streets, alleys, and bike trails. Maintenance repairs include pothole patching, dig-out repairs, and crack-sealing. The program includes the maintenance of signs, pavement markings, curb markings, street name signs, and roadway striping. Annually, the program repaints all school pavement legends and inspects school regulatory and warning signs.
All street rehabilitation and slurry seal projects are performed by a private contractor under the direction from Public Works Department.
