Ocean Boulevard Concrete Pavement Reconstruction

The City of Newport Beach Public Works Department is in the process of finalizing the Ocean Boulevard Sidewalk Improvements project. Sidewalk is proposed to be installed along the south side of Ocean Boulevard from Dahlia Avenue to Fernleaf Avenue, which completes the sidewalk system on Ocean Boulevard. The project provides for pedestrian safety and American with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance. A small concrete look-out area is also proposed in the Public Right of Way.

A community meeting was held on May 18, 2021 at 4:30 PM in the Community Room located at City Hall. Public Works is currently considering design options and will bring plans forward to the City Council in the summer of 2021.  You may contact Assistant City Engineer, Michael J.
