ACTION:                   APPROVED – September 10, 2007

 

The new public park (Coastal Peak Park) was approved by the County of Orange through Planning Applications PA 00-0111, PA 00-0113, and PA 00-0114. The active park approval included, but was not limited to the following: an active sport field area, court sport areas, a park-support structure (i.e. restroom facilities), a parking lot area, and the minimal necessary safety and security lighting.

 

The proposed “Changed Plan” submitted by the Irvine Company as required by the County is in substantial conformance with the County’s approval. Coastal Peak Park will include the following amenities: restroom structure, two shade shelters, tot lot, basketball court, batting cages, two baseball fields with backstops and dugouts, picnic areas, and soccer field overlays.

 

Approval of this “Changed Plan” by the Planning Director does not include other approvals required to comply with City procedures.
