What is on my Ballot? A Virtual Bipartisan Workshop

  • Date: 09/14/2020 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
  • Location: Online

Key to Community: What is on Your Ballot
Date: Thursday, September 14th
Time: 1:00pm - 2:00pm

For adult learners, tutors, program staff – everyone!

When you vote, everything listed on the long ballot can be overwhelming. The good news is you don’t have to vote on everything! Your vote will still count. This workshop will help you turn your ballot into a menu. You will get an overview of the types of elected positions and propositions in the November 3 election. You will be able to pick out what you want to learn more about. You are in charge of what you choose to vote on! This workshop is part of the Key to Community project.

About Zoom: We will be using Zoom for this program and you will receive the link prior to the conversation. You do not have to have a Zoom account to attend a Zoom meeting and you can participate either on your computer or on your phone. Depending on the technology you use, you will be prompted to download the software or app, once you have clicked on the link that that we will provide you prior to the meeting. You may also wish to create an account, but that is not required to participate in a Zoom meeting.
