Budget Division

The Budget Division provides a broad and diverse spectrum of fiscal processing solutions. This division is responsible for the development, administration and monitoring of the City’s operating budget.

Development, administration and monitoring the City’s operating budget is a year-round process. The City operates on a fiscal year beginning on July 1 and ending on June 30 of the following year. The budget is prepared on a modified accrual basis with all appropriations lapsing at the close of the fiscal year unless specified by policy.  

The Budget Division facilitates the following operations and functions:

• Coordination of Citywide grant administration/financial reporting
