Street Sweeping Holiday Schedule

In celebration of the Fourth of July, there will be no street sweeping on Wednesday, July 4. On Tuesday, July 3 and Thursday, July 5, the street sweeper will be on its regular schedule; however, there will be no enforcement of parked vehicles (no tickets will be issued). The street sweeper will go around vehicles to clean the streets as much as possible. The sweepers will not be going on to Balboa Island due to the limited space and anticipated holiday congestion from July 3 through July 5. Regular service will resume on Friday, July 6.

NOTE: All fireworks are illegal in Newport Beach. If you want to report the use of fireworks, please call the Police Department's dispatch, non-emergency line only 949-644-3717. Do not call 911 and only call if you can see the exact physical location or person setting off the fireworks.
