On September 26th, City Council approved the 2023 Sewer Rate Study and its recommendations for sewer rate adjustments. Council also directed staff to mail a Prop 218 Public Notice to all property owners and active sewer customers to inform them of the rate adjustments over the next five years, starting January 1, 2024. A copy of the Prop 218 Notice may be seen here.
NOVEMBER 14, 2023 - City Council - Conduct Prop 218 Public Hearing To Amend Sewer Rates - Tabulation of "Protest" Votes and Approve Resolution to Amend Wastewater/ Sewer rates.
The City recieved one protest vote to the water and sewer rates adjustments, therefore City Council approved the two Resolutions to adjust the water and sewer rates, respectively, with an effective date of January 1, 2024. The City Council staff report and Resolution No. 2023-75 (Sewer Rates) are provided below for your review.
