Storm Drains

Newport Beach has over 95 miles of storm drain pipe, 3,224 catch basins and 86 tidal valves. The Storm Drain Maintenance Crew is responsible for inspection, maintenance, and repair of the City’s storm drain system. This includes clearing blocked drains, removing debris from storm drain/catch basin structures, and the cleaning and repairing of damaged drain pipes.
