Transfer a Permit
Requirements to complete a transfer:
The permit must be active and compliant
Title must have been updated
Permits may be transferred under the following circumstances:
Purchaser of Property: within 60 days of title transfer
An Heir: within 90 days of title transfer
A Trust, A Business Entity, A Family Member: within 365 days of title transfer
Things to keep in mind:
It is the owners responsibility to notify the City any time the title on property holding a short term lodging permit changes.
Permits are not automatically transferred due to a title change.
The proper forms must be completed within the deadlines described above.
If you are the current owner you need to complete the seller form.
If you are the new owner you will complete the buyers form.
