The City of Newport Beach is considering a comprehensive update of the Zoning Code for the purpose of implementing the 2006 update of the General Plan, and invites members of the public to participate in upcoming Planning Commission public meetings on the proposed update. The Zoning Code is a regulatory document that implements many General Plan polices related to land use and development.

The fourth public draft contains changes made by the General Plan/Local Coastal Program Implementation Committee and City staff during their review of the third public draft. The Planning Commission will review the draft and make recommendations for the consideration of the City Council.

June 15, 2010, 6:30 PM (Special Meeting)
June 17, 2010, 6:30 PM
June 24, 2010, 6:30 PM (Special Meeting)
June 29, 2010, 6:30 PM (Special Meeting, CANCELED)
July 13, 2010, 6:30 PM (Special Meeting)




All meetings will be held in the City Council Chambers at 3300 Newport Boulevard, Newport Beach. Meetings may be continued to a subsequent regular or special meeting, with an announcement at the hearing and no further written notice.
