Available Operating Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 10 p.m. 
Friday: 7:30 a.m. - Midnight
Saturday: 8 a.m. - Midnight
Sunday: 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. 

This building is only staffed during scheduled programs or rentals. Please call 949-644-3151 with any questions.

Capacity: 
The CYC offers three rental rooms that accommodate:

  • 60 guests standing.
  • 115 guest standing CDM room 
  • 50 guests sitting theater-style
  • 30 guests with tables and chairs

Equipment Available: In our Pirate’s Cove (carpeted) room, we have a wall draping, whiteboard, Smart TV, radio, speakers with a microphone, 6ft tables, and chairs available. In our China Cove (LVP wood) room, we have a whiteboard, radio, speakers with a microphone, 6ft tables, and chairs available. In our Corona Del Mar Room (CDM/Dance floor) mirrored walls, speakers with a microphone, 6ft tables, and chairs available. 

Outdoor Rentals: Reserve our picnic area and receive 3 shaded tables next to our playground. Reserve our grass area to add a bounce house to your event. Reservations are recommended and required in certain instances. Any activities using vendors require a permit. Examples include hired characters, catering, event equipment services, bouncers, and anyone operating a business with on-site services. Proof of insurance coverage listing the City of Newport Beach as additional insured will be required. For a list of pre-approved vendors, click here.

As a courtesy to staff and scheduled programs, please be mindful of any potential impacts to parking, trash, and restroom capacity. Advance notice of any planned activities helps set up your occasion for success by preparing the facility, ensuring the bathrooms are unlocked and allowing for scheduling that avoids conflicts.

Facility Reservation Information:  Reservations may be made up to 6 months in advance. To process your reservation, please submit a completed Reservation Request form and a signed Facility Use Agreement. We require a minimum of 10 working days to be processed. Submission of Reservation Request does not constitute approval. Approval or denial will be provided within 3 working days of a completed application. At the time of approval, you will be notified of the cost of your rental. Full payment is due at that time. We will do our best to accommodate your rental with less than 10 working days’ notice. Please give us a call for more information.

Vendor Information: Additional permits and restrictions apply when using outside vendors for DJ services, bands, party rental, florists, photographers, etc. Please refer to the following documents for more information:
