How to Contact Other Researchers.
Learn a variety of interview tips and resources. Discover why it is important to understand the history of the area and how various events (wars, historical landscape changes, geographical nuances) impacted your ancestors, and eventually your own research. The first 30 minutes will cover the session’s topic. The remaining 90 minutes will be an interactive round table. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss their progress, ask questions, and receive guidance.
Students should arrive prepared with their own research materials and any questions they may have. Prior participation in Beginning Genealogy or equivalent recommended.
