What did you like or not like about the cover? Did the cover reflect the contents?
All the covers of this series are somewhat the same, the only things that change are the dress and
the girl on it. I do like the cover, it is pretty and I like how all the books look somewhat the same but
the cover doesn't reflect anything that happens in the book it only shows the main character of the
book and that is it. When you look at the cover you won't find anything on it that has some
connection to the story of the book.
Your review / Summary of the book that will make other teens want to read it.
There are only 6 girls left.The elites. The selection is getting closer to one of them being chosen but
the rebels are still attacking the palace. This book was interesting and I liked how we could see that
America was ready to start fighting for Maxon. Not because she wants to be princess, which is still
something she is not sure about but because she cares for Maxon.
Describe the most compelling aspect of the book.
For me one of the most compelling aspects of the story was that since there are only 6 more girls in
the selection we get to know about each one more. They get closer with each other and when the
selection ends like the queen said each of these girls will still be in contact because the selection
brought them together and they won't be able to forget that.
Were you disappointed with the book for any reason? If so, what was disappointing?
I was not disappointed in anything except how short it felt. Maybe it's because I liked it and it went by
faster or because I'm used to reading bigger books. It just felt shorter than most books. Those are
the types of books I could read in a day or two. But since it's a series it's not too disappointing. Other
than that there is nothing wrong with the book.
Did you finish the book?
Yes I did finish the book. I found this book particularly short. I always find books short when I enjoy
them but I think this one was shorter in the number of pages and chapters. I still really enjoyed
reading it. I really liked the first one as well even though it's not usually the type of book I go for.
How would you rate this book?
I would rate this book a 4. Not because I didn't enjoy it or anything it's mostly because like I said I
don't usually read books like this. I am mostly reading fantasy and adventure books but for a story
that is different from what I usually like I was surprised that I liked it so much. I rate this book a 4 and
not a 5 because I read a lot of books and this one is very different from my favorites.
