Come out for the 6th Annual Halloween Spooktacular at Mariners Park! This free community event includes LIVE music, trunk-or-treat area, a haunted walkthrough, carnival games, bounce houses, costume contests, food trucks, and fun for the whole family! Food will be available for purchase from local favorites TK Burger and Baja Surfing Taco.

Mariners Park & VJ Community Center is located at 1300 Irvine Ave., Newport Beach, CA 92660. Parking is limited. Walking and biking are encouraged. For questions, contact the Newport Beach Recreation & Senior Services Department at 949-644-3151 or recreation@newportbeachca.gov.

2023 EVENT TIMELINE

3:00 p.m. Event starts (Trunk-or-Treat, Bounce Houses, Carnival games, Food Vendors, and Haunted Walkthrough)
3:15 p.m. Live Music (Living Cover Band)
4:45 p.m. MC and Costume Contest (Categories: Spookiest, Funniest, Most Original, Best Duo, Best Family, and Dog Costume)
5:15 p.m. Live Music (Living Cover Band)
6:00 p.m. Event ends

Enjoy a little family-friendly competition to receive an award and recognition on the stage!

Sign-up at the City booth between 3-4:30 p.m.
Contests start at 4:45 p.m.
